Soldier Rocket Exploit

A new exploit for the soldier has been found in Team Fortress 2. Soldiers can shoot through the floor with rockets The splash damage from the rocket allows the soldier to kill people that they cannot see.

The reason for this exploit working is because rockets have a hit box that is much bigger than their model. You can test this out by trying to pass in front of another players rocket and passing behind another players rocket. Both will result in damage which should be impossible unless the hitbox is bigger than the model.

Maps like ctf_2fort and tc_hydro are especially prone to the through the floor type of attack as they contain multiple levels. My favorite place to use this is griefing people underneath the respawn on 2fort.
