Engineer Syringe Jump

Engineers can super jump with the help of one or more medics by exploiting a physics bug in TF2.

1) Engineer builds Dispenser
2) Engineer jumps on top of dispenser
3) Medic(s) crowd around dispenser
4) Engineer jumps as fast as possible
5) Medic(s) shoot syringes at engineer

If the medics can keep a steady stream of syringes hitting the engineer he can get very big boost in the air. You can use multiple medics to get higher in the air.

John M sent me this exploit and it works really well on cp_skyscraper.

Umm, after reading through the developers notes on developer.valvesoftware.com this is NOT an exploit, this is a planned ability and any class can use it. here is a link check it out.

Medic Syringe Gun Boost

the reference is at the bottom of the jump distance reference area. in the notes section.

any tips for where to aim,for the medic , or look for that matter for the engie, none of this is explained.

Anonymous, it's really easy, an engineer make a dispenser, he jump on it, the medic (or another class) go under (into) the dispenser and he shoot at the feet of the engineer while the engineer is jumping. ;)

This exploit should be edited :

1) You don't need a dispenser to make the jump, simply be somewhere when the medic can go under you, like a edge or a sentry, etc.

It has been fixed, we can't do it anymore.

Does this work across all platforms? I play on the Xbox360.

I was playing 2Fort last night and saw an engineer and a medic messing on the opposite side of the fence right outside one of the bases. Is this "exploit" how they got over there? If so, how did the medic get on the opposite side of the fence?

The Engie just makes a teleporter for the Medic.. Or any other class for that matter.

Dude this is extremely old.

works still on ps3 or xbox360
i know cause i have got them both and i tryed it out.if you want to get on the other side of the fence you must play on ps3 or xbox 360 and go to the
stairs that leads you to the inteligen base and then crouch jump and walk on the wall and put a teleport there then you need a medic and build a dipencer or a sentry and jump then the medic must shoot in you'r legs and you will fly on the roof behind the fence.
